The Cartel Method

Training Built From Data. Coaching Built Around You.

Private coaching for high-performing adults who want strength, endurance, recovery, and testing built into one clear system. No random workouts. No generic plans. No guessing.

“Energy is a valuable commodity. Your training should build durability, resilience, and vitality — not drain them.”

The Difference

Most coaching gives you workouts. This gives you a system.

What most coaching is

A training plan on an app.

  • Monthly or quarterly check-ins
  • Endurance only — bring your own strength coach
  • Generic plans with light personalization
  • Testing sold separately by a different provider
  • Adjustments only when you ask for them
  • Canned feedback or assistant communication
What you get here

One coach. One integrated method.

  • Direct review and response by Javier
  • Strength, endurance, and recovery in one program
  • Programming that flexes around travel, sleep, and stress
  • Diagnostics built into the coaching cycle
  • Quarterly retesting to measure the work
  • You talk to Javier — not an assistant
The Cartel Method

Four phases. One cycle. Compounding results.

A complete cycle runs roughly 12 weeks. Most clients run multiple cycles per year, with each one built from the data of the last.

The Work

Build Phase

Where you stop working out and start training.

The assessment becomes the training block. Strength, endurance, mobility, and recovery are built into one program calibrated to what your body can actually adapt to right now.

  • Programming adjusted around travel, sleep, and stress
  • Direct review and response by Javier
  • Mobility and corrective work tied to your key priorities
  • Recovery built into the plan, not treated as an afterthought
  • Async communication and scheduled video check-ins
  • Delivered through TrainingPeaks and your coaching app
8–12 weeks per block
03
The Proof

Retest

Same standards. New information.

At the end of the block, we recheck the measurements that matter most. This gives objective feedback on what changed, what did not change, and what the next block should focus on.

  • Re-run of the key baselines that matter for the next block
  • Side-by-side comparison: before vs. after
  • Movement, gait, VO₂, and recovery trends
  • Written analysis of what improved and what needs more work
  • Data used to shape the next training cycle
1 week · The checkpoint
04
The Next Move

Recode Phase

The strategic reset.

Based on what the retest revealed, we redesign the next 90-day block with updated priorities, new targets, and a clearer path forward. This is what separates coaching from programming.

  • Strategic review of retest data
  • Updated training priorities identified
  • New targets for the next training block
  • Next 90-day build phase designed
  • Recovery, nutrition, and lifestyle refinements
1 week · Sets up the next cycle
Then the cycle repeats — Build, Retest, Recode — for as long as you train with us.
Who This Is For

Built for people who treat performance as infrastructure.

Good Fit

Not a Fit

  • You want a generic plan and a quick result
  • You want to skip the assessment
  • You treat intensity as punishment
  • You want to avoid measurement and just feel it out

Frequently Asked

Before you apply.

Do I have to do Performance Recon if I just want training?
Yes. The assessment is the foundation. Without it, the work becomes guesswork. Every private coaching client starts with a baseline.
Can I do this fully remote?
Yes. The assessment can be delivered remotely, with in-person testing available in Miami or by travel-to-client arrangement. The Build, Retest, and Recode phases can also be managed remotely.
How long does a full cycle take?
A complete Performance Recon → Build → Retest → Recode cycle runs roughly 12 weeks. Most clients complete 3–4 cycles per year.
What is the minimum commitment?
One full cycle. That gives enough time to assess, train, retest, and make a clear decision from real data.
How much does it cost?
Private coaching is a premium service and is priced according to access, testing needs, and support level. Details are reviewed during the discovery call.
Do you take everyone who applies?
No. Applications are reviewed personally. The right fit matters more than filling a spot.

Ready to train on data, not guesswork?

Start with a short application, then a 30-minute call with Javier. If it is the right fit, the process begins with Performance Recon.
